Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Moneyr, a product operated by [Moneyr Limited] (company name and Hong Kong company number to be added), registered at [registered office address in Hong Kong — to be added] (“Moneyr,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using our website, wallet, payment links, or related services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to use Moneyr. We may decline to open, or may suspend or close, an account where required by law, sanctions obligations, or our risk and compliance policies.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials and sign-in access secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. Certain features (sending money, withdrawals, higher transaction limits) require identity verification (“KYC”), including submitting government identification, a selfie for liveness/face matching, and screening against sanctions and politically-exposed-person lists. We may request additional information at any time to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Wallet balance and payments

Moneyr lets you receive payments (by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or supported cryptocurrencies) into a wallet balance, hold that balance, and pay out to a bank account, e-wallet, or convert crypto to your fiat balance. Card and digital-wallet payments are processed by Stripe; crypto deposits, custody, and swaps are provided through our custody partner, CAMP. Funds you hold are safeguarded in line with applicable regulatory requirements. Displayed balances, exchange rates, and quotes may include a margin or spread, which is disclosed at the point of transaction.

4. Payouts and withdrawals

Withdrawals to a bank account or supported e-wallet are subject to identity verification, transaction limits, and review. Some payout methods are processed automatically; others are reviewed manually and may take longer to complete. We may delay, decline, or reverse a transaction to comply with law, prevent fraud, or investigate suspicious activity, and we’ll refund the held amount to your wallet where we do.

5. Cryptocurrency

Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible once confirmed on the relevant network. Moneyr does not support withdrawing crypto off-platform — crypto assets in your wallet can only be converted to your fiat balance and paid out through supported fiat payout methods. Cryptocurrency values are volatile and Moneyr does not guarantee any exchange rate, price, or value.

6. Fees

Fees for payments, currency conversion, and payouts are shown to you before you confirm a transaction. We may change our fees prospectively by updating this page or notifying you in the product.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use Moneyr for illegal activity, to violate sanctions or export-control laws, for money laundering or terrorist financing, or to circumvent our verification, limits, or fraud controls. We may suspend or terminate accounts we reasonably believe are being used in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

8. Liability

The Services are provided on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moneyr is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including losses from third-party service outages (payment processors, custody providers, banking partners) outside our reasonable control.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close your account for the reasons described above or if required by our banking, payments, or custody partners. On closure, any remaining wallet balance will be returned to you via a supported payout method, subject to completing any required verification.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the product or by email before the change takes effect.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
